We hope you enjoyed a safe July 4th weekend.
As part of the reopening of visitation in the Center, the front entrance door will be unlocked daily between the hours of 10:00 am and 6:00 pm. There has been a recent uptick in the COVID-19 positivity rate in Mecklenberg County. All visitors are reminded of the requirement to adhere to core infection control principles including mask use, signing-in and screening upon arrival, and having your vaccination information available during screening. Visitors are asked to remain at home if experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, including symptoms that may also be commonly associated with seasonal allergies.
County Positivity Rate: Increased to 5.2%.
Testing Frequency for Staff and Patients: Unvaccinated staff are tested weekly based on the county positivity rate. Patients and staff may be tested as needed based on symptoms, exposure, or during an outbreak.
PPE: The supply remains adequate. Staff receive ongoing education on appropriate PPE utilization.
