April 6th, 2021

I hope you had a nice Easter. We celebrated the holiday with Easter-themed activities at the Center throughout the weekend.

Visitation is going well, and we are pleased with the responsiveness we’ve received since re-introducing indoor visitation. We continue to stress the importance of practicing core principles of COVID-19 infection prevention while visiting with your loved ones. Anyone experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 should remain at home and refrain from visiting until symptoms have resolved. Some symptoms of COVID-19 can mimic seasonal allergy symptoms such as cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, sore throat, headache, congestion or runny nose. To learn more about the difference between seasonal allergies and COVID-19 symptoms, click this link: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/need-extra-precautions/infographic-overlap-symptoms.html.

County Positivity Rate:  Increased to 5.5%.
Testing Frequency for Staff and Patients: Staff and patients are tested every 3-7 days while in an outbreak until the Center is 14 days without a positive test result.
PPE: The supply remains adequate. Staff receive ongoing education on appropriate PPE utilization.
Visitation: Virtual and scheduled indoor and outdoor visitation are currently available. To schedule a visit, click this link: https://chasecity-rehab.com/patient-visitation/.

As always, please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have.

Sincerely,
