The Team Member of the Quarter program is designed to promote and reward outstanding performance by staff at Chase City Health & Rehab Center. The Leadership team seeks to recognize employees who exemplify excellence through their daily commitment to the facility. It is through the hard work and dedication of these staff members that make our success possible.

Our Administrator and HR Department will review the nominations submitted by peers, family members, and residents each quarter. The nominees must be employed for 180 days and in good standing- no corrective actions in the last year to be eligible for the award.

The Team  Member of the Quarter will receive a $100 cash award and a certificate of recognition presented by the Administrator and their Supervisor. In addition, a congratulatory letter will be given to the Employee from the CEO and/or COO of CCR.

As an additional recognition of merit, all qualified Team Member of the Quarter winners will be entered into the nomination pool for the Team Member of the Year Award.

Today, Chase City Health & Rehab Center is happy to announce the 2022 Team Member of the second quarter is Alicia Pickett, Dietary Aide. Alicia started at Chase City Health & Rehab Center in May 2018. She is a graduate of Bluestone High School and a resident of Chase City.

Alicia is very friendly and always shows concern for the residents’ needs as well as staff. While she works in the dietary department, Alicia will often check with other departments, like Activities, to see what they need for the day and is ready to help out.

We asked Alicia, “why did you choose to work in long-term care and rehab?” Her answer was, “I love taking care of people.” That is evident in everything Alicia does!
