Observed February 1st-7th, National Patient Recognition Week is a week for healthcare providers to reflect on patient care and their dedication to patient satisfaction.

At Chase City Health & Rehab, we love our patients. Throughout this week, we’re be showcasing some of our patients. These individuals are just a few patients that we get to serve. Even though we can’t recognize all of them, we want to say thank you to all of our patients, residents & the community.

Mr. & Mrs. Bacon

Since February is mostly known for Valentine’s Day, it’s a good month to introduce our last resident recognition entry. This is Mr. &Mrs. Bacon.

They’ve been with us in for a little over a year. They have loved each other for over 70 years.

Mr. & Mrs. Bacon worked and raised their family here in Chase City. They have raised 7 children, had 9 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Each of them loved going to gospel concerts and just being together. It is an honor and privilege to get to witness this kind of love every day at the center, every day. We should be so lucky.
