The journey of a thousand steps begins with just taking one step at a time! Congratulations, Mrs. Scott, on taking that final step to reach your goal of returning home sweet home! Some staff even came in on their day off to say “see ya later, never goodbye”.

Mrs. Scott had this to say about her time with us:
“Well, it has almost been a year since I was at home. I got very sick in February 2018 and was in Lynchburg Hospital in a coma then after I came out of the coma I had a lot of problems. Then in April 2018, I came to Chase City Health Rehab for therapy. Every time I got to do something with therapy, the doctor would say stop but God had other plans for me. Now I am walking with a walker and will be going home tomorrow January 24. So always remember that if you get down always look up to God in prayer. I have had many a people praying for me and I thank God for all of them. I thank the staff of Chase City Health & Rehab for all of their help with my progress and being able to go home. I also thank my husband, son, daughter, and all of my family for their love and support. May God bless you all.”
