Celebrating your 100th birthday is a significant milestone and accomplishment! Something Ms. Long, a resident at Chase City Health & Rehab Center, will be commemorating in a few months.

Ms. Long was born and raised in Lunenburg County, VA, on April 20th, 1920. As the years passed, she met the love of her life and moved to Chase City, VA, where they raised six children.

As a former employee of the Chase City Garment Factory for over 40 years, Ms. Long spent most of her time with family and doing what she does the best- gardening!  She is also an active member of the Concord Baptist Church and was a 4H leader. Her spirit and spunk are what we, her friends & family at Chase City Health & Rehab Center, love most about her.

To celebrate this fantastic milestone, we’re asking for help from our community. Our employees want to make this birthday magical and have set a goal to collect 100 birthday cards for her birthday on April 20th.
