Dear Patients and Families:

I am writing to share news that 3 additional patients have tested positive for COVID-19. All positive patients are located on the “hot unit”. We continue to monitor all patients very closely and will conduct testing as recommended by the CDC and the Virginia Department of Health. Per recommendation by the health department, there is currently no visitation for patients located on The Garden unit. Visits for all other patients will be limited to 15 minutes in duration and no children under the age of 12 at this time.

As a reminder, positive cases are tracked and reported in the weekly updates that are posted on the Center’s website. We are pleased to report that most of the staff and patients who test positive are experiencing mild symptoms, if any, and continue to recover.
