Happy National Social Workers Month!

This year’s theme is “Social Workers: Leaders. Advocates. Champions.

Pictured (left to right) is Sarah Jones and Melissa Price are enjoying a nice quiet well deserved recognition lunch. Our social workers, at Chase City Health and Rehab, are advocates, champions and leaders within the facility and community making CCH&R a better place for all residents, patients, families, and staff.

Every day the nation’s 650,000 social workers act as advocates, champions, and leaders who make our society a better place to live. The role of social workers help the most vulnerable people in our society as well as improving the lives of all Americans. They are trained to look at situations in a holistic way, bringing people together with others and their communities to find ways to address pressing individual, group and societal problems such as hunger, affordable housing, equal rights for all and making organizations and government accountable.

A large THANK YOU to Sarah and Melissa for bringing peace of mind to all we care for our residents, patients, families, and staff.
